Morocco improving financial services and budget allocations

Two different reports released this summer that evaluate Morocco’s public finance management have reached similar conclusions about the country’s efforts to improve the delivery of financial services and budget allocations.

The World Bank’s “Public Financial Management Reform in the Middle East and North Africa: An Overview of Regional Experience”, released in June, and the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) appraisal report for phase four of the Public Administration Reform Support Programme (PARSP), released in May, both state that the government has made modest but effective progress in advancing its delivery of public services…read more
